For all health professionals.

A significant number of Australians suffer from fibromyalgia which can impact quality of life. Access to clear guidelines, support resources, educational materials and evidence forms the foundation for looking at and treating fibromyalgia. They also need to ensure that they minimise risk when prescribing medication as part of the management especially in the use of drugs of dependence.

Learning outcomes

  • Implement evidenced-based practical approaches in assessing fibromyalgia
  • Discuss the different manifestations and diagnosis of fibromyalgia
